Soon we'll be getting in our cars and asking them to take us where we need to go, we won't have to drive as it will be automated. Japan has a flying car coming out next year for half a million dollars. For now traffic lights are necessity when they cease to be something will take their place. I'm excited to see what comes next.

I'm so confused by the Answer options to this Poll.

Traffic control devices serve a definitive purpose.

Eventually they will work with your cars system. Letting it go or making it stop

They won't disappear any time soon. I could see them disappearing in the future as autonomous tech becomes more reliable and improves safety. Sooner, rather than later, we will be passengers in cars that drive us.

As long as there is traffic, I don't expect them to totally disappear as in not be around at all. As others have stated, there are versions designed to help people with various sight issues, and maybe it's my imagination, but some seem to have a 'cooler' glow to them that don't glare so much.

A lot of green LED lights have some blue lights mixed in, which helps colorblind people.

Poll questions and answers are not worded very well. But because some people are color blind, the traffic lights should be brighter with an arrow that is only seen if it's a go.

karrell. The walk/don't walk sign beeps for the blind. Also on the ramps are bumps to let the blind know they are at a crosswalk.
